Who are you and what do you do at incentivesmart?
My name’s Erin, I am Customer Support Administrator and I’ve been with the company for almost a year and a half. I'm involved in a lot of different areas within incentivesmart and I oversee a wide range of tasks from making sure rewards go out to clients on time to answering customer queries and administrative tasks.
I also get the fun job of being involved with choosing which rewards go onto our catalogue. We like to have a wide range of exciting products as rewards including kooky items you wouldn’t necessarily see everywhere else. To me the perfect reward is something you maybe wouldn’t have bought for yourself so we like to add lots of treats and special items so people can really spoil themselves for their hard work.
At the moment we’re working on the Christmas catalogue, which always starts small but by the end of November is a feast of festive goodies! It’s a busy time but exciting as we know we’re shipping out people’s Christmas gifts and it feels really special because we know people have worked really hard to receive them.
What have you worked on recently that you’re really proud of?
As a bit of a film buff, I was asked recently to write a Film Quiz for our clients to enter and win a great prize. It went down really well and we had loads of entries. A few people even got all the answers right!
What’s the best thing about working for incentivesmart?
The atmosphere at incentivesmart HQ is very motivated but fun at the same time. We have a great balance of work focus and play time and that makes it easy to get up for work on a Monday morning. Everyone here is so driven and that's evident in our work. It’s a very satisfying job.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?
incentivesmart is growing so fast and I can see my role growing with it, so it only makes sense to go along for the ride!
What’s your favourite way to spend your weekend?
With my husband either out and about in London, at the gym or chilling out in front of a movie at home. I don’t like to sit around and do nothing for very long, so anything that keeps me busy and is fun!
What’s your mantra?
"Not my circus, not my monkeys"
It literally means 'not my problem'. Essentially it's about being as helpful as I can be but without being dragged into the stresses and dramas of other's if they don't involve me. This means I stay focussed on my own path whether it be at work or at home.
