The Challenge

Hughes Network Solutions wanted to create an exclusive and exciting dealer incentive scheme for Hughes Europe's authorised Value Added Resellers (VARs) to drive performance.

The Solution

incentivesmart™ designed Platinum Rewards, a points based rewards programme with league tables, integrated sales tracking and an extensive communications plan!

The more Classic and Premier Internet Access service plans sold, the more points VARs could earn and redeem against a number of high value consumer goods, including top brand names such as Sony, Gucci and Apple to name but a few! VARs had to simply hit the pre-determined sales targets given to them to earn rewards on all sales in the period.

Additionally, the overall top performing VAR and the first to achieve 100% of their target was rewarded with a 3-night break for two people to Venice along with €500 spending money.

The Results

  • 95% of VARs exceeded set targets.
  • 55% of VARs achieved extended targets.
  • 2 top VARs exceeded 150% of extended targets.
  • The top performing VAR and the first to reach 100% both enjoyed a fantastic 3-night city break in Venice with a guest of their choice.
