About Motorola

Motorola, now owned by Google, is a mobile phone and electronic device manufacturer. They design technology that connects seamlessly so consumers have the best content at their fingertips, every second of every day. TV, talk, text, email and web surfing.  Motorola make devices that do more, so people can do more.

The Challenge

Motorola wanted to launch a loyalty and incentive programme to re-launch their accessory range to trade dealers across the EMEA region.  The solution had to be available in multiple languange options including English, German, French, Italian and Spanish.

The Solution

incentivesmart™ designed a programme to create greater interaction between the various levels of the distribution network, to create excitement and to change the sales behaviour of the retailers.

We built a dedicated multi-lingual website featuring a huge range of rewards including rewards that would suite specific regional tastes.

We introduced a strategic communications plan to launch the programme and communicate key business messages.  Materials included a welcome booklet, monthly printed statements, regular eflyers and teaser postcards to communicate scheme progress and celebrate individual achievements.

Throughout the programme we managed tactical campaigns to drive specific product sales and encourage cross-fertilisation of Motorola accessory range.

The Results

The programme was well recieved in all participating countries and all regions achieved sales growth with an average sales growth across all regions of 27%.  Due to it's success and dealer demand the programme, originally intended to simply launch the range, was extended to run more than six times the original promotional period.
