Corporate Social Responsibility Policy

 
At IncentiveSMART we aim to sustain and improve our natural environment for the benefit of all.  We are committed to continual improvement in our environmental performance by improving the efficiency with which we use resources and aim to comply with all relevant environmental regulation and legislation. 
 
Sustainability
 
IncentiveSMART actively encourages all employees to participate in activities that aim to minimise the company’s environmental impact.  Environmental awareness training is provided to new members of staff and we communicate with our stakeholders, including shareholders, employees and customers on matters of environmental policy and practices.  We also encourage suppliers to adopt the highest environmental standards.
 
We are currently working to offset our carbon foot-print with our internal 'be green charter' which contains guidelines on reducing our impact on the environment. Our practices include:
 
·          Ethical sourcing, local economic development and fairtrade
·          Our programmes include ethically sourced rewards and we offer our customers a range of green benefits and rewards
·          Re-using plastic bags
·          Re-using paper for internal notebooks
·          Reducing our internal printing by implementing online storage systems
·          Using recyclable bags for our own recycling
·          Using portable coffee mugs in our kitchens instead of disposables
·          Actively encouraging car-sharing as part of the carshare:MK initiative.
·          Whenever possible, we prioritise business links with companies who themselves are committed to ethical sourcing and practice.
 
Community
 
IncentiveSMART are committed to supporting local and national charities and over the years we have made donations to a number of charities – with a balance of local and national causes. In the last 3 years we made significant donations to organisations such as Macmillan Cancer Support, Comic Relief, Cancer Research UK, Milton Keynes Community Foundation and have organized a number collaborative high profile charity events such as the F1 Party at Whittlebury Hall in Silverstone and the regular Biggest Breakfast networking event.
 
IncentiveSMART also now offer payroll giving as one of our core employee voluntary benefits.

This information will be used to inform future policy and to enhance business processes
